Abstracting Nature

Using the natural world as inspiration and a guide to create interesting forms that use a shape that unifies the overall palette and layout. We were asked to design a start scene, a transition scene and an end scene with our unifying shape to understand the leverage of abstraction. I chose to use an organic continuous line because the contour of the form is what interested me in making the object, the loose organic structure and making it into one line was a challenge that I wanted to solve. Also understanding the routes designers make in conforming to dimensions.
